von Willebrand Factor (VWF R9.14) (ID# 7846)

* The secondary structure may not be accurate because of MFOLD limitations on chemistries other than RNA/DNA.
2'-F-RNA
von Willebrand Factor (VWF)
Protein
12 nM (reported value)
For nitrocellulose filter binding assays:
Selection Buffer E (20mM HEPES (pH 7.4), 50 mM NaCl, 2 mM CaCl2, and 0.1% BSA)
-OR-
Selection Buffer F (20mM HEPES (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl, 2 mM CaCl2, and 0.1% BSA)

For platelet function analysis(performed at RT):
Platelet binding buffer: 150 mM NaCl, 20 mM Hepes pH 7.5; 5 mM KCL; 1 mM MgCl2, and 1 M CaCl2.
37°C
NA If the oligo is a known aptamer sequence: For binding studies, perform a refolding protocol to ensure proper function (i.e. binding to antigen or target). Refer to the aptamer reference source for the appropriate refolding parameters and binding conditions. Note: it is unknown whether aptamer functions properly without refolding.
Specifically inhibited ristocetin-induced platelet aggregation and not collagen-induced, ADP-induced, or thrombin-induced platelet aggregation.
Binds to the A1 domain of vWF and completely inhibits ristocetin-induced platelet aggregation at a concentration of 250 nM.

Inhibition was reversed using complementary sequence:
