This aptamer generally binds to trivalent lanthanide ions with a slight preference for heavier members of the lanthanide series. Kd above is against Tb3+. Kd values for Y3+, La3+, and Lu3+ are 2.7 nM, 26.9 nM, and 2.3 nM, respectively.
