TAT RNA Aptamer TAT-X (ID# 8412)

RNA
Recombinant Trans-Activator of Transcription Aptamer binding Protein (RBP-mCherry-RBP)
Protein
3.49 nM (reported value)
50 mM Tris-HCl, 50 mM NaCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH 7.4.
25°C
NA If the oligo is a known aptamer sequence: For binding studies, perform a refolding protocol to ensure proper function (i.e. binding to antigen or target). Refer to the aptamer reference source for the appropriate refolding parameters and binding conditions. Note: it is unknown whether aptamer functions properly without refolding.
Four TAT aptamers were fused together through a specially designed four-way junction and the corresponding RNA transcript was referred to as TAT-X which was produced stably in vivo and readily isolated from RNase III-deficient cells. With specific modification, TAT aptamer can also be conjugated with other aptamers including Spinach 2 to produce more multimeric aptamers with related functions.
