Mouse Transferrin Receptor (GS24) (ID# 7814)

DNA
Mouse Transferrin Receptor (mTfR)
Protein
N/A nM (reported value)
PBS with 1 mM MgCl2
RT°C
NA If the oligo is a known aptamer sequence: For binding studies, perform a refolding protocol to ensure proper function (i.e. binding to antigen or target). Refer to the aptamer reference source for the appropriate refolding parameters and binding conditions. Note: it is unknown whether aptamer functions properly without refolding.
Does not bind to human TfR.
Aptamer was internalized via receptor-mediated endocytosis. The authors successfully delivered a-L-iduronidase to enzyme-deficient mouse fibroblasts, with correction of glycosaminoglycan metabolism.
Aptamer binding is not inhibited by mouse transferrin, which suggests that the aptamer binds to a different site on the protein.
