Interferon-? (2’NH2-30) (ID# 7469)

DNA
Interferon-y/IFN-y/IFNG
Protein
2.7 nM (reported value)
Binding Mixture: PBS (138 mM NaC1, 2.7 mM KCl, 8.1 mM Na2HPO4, and 1.1 mM KH2PO4, pH 7.4) containing 1 mM Mg2+ ions and 0.01% human serum albumin.

NA If the oligo is a known aptamer sequence: For binding studies, perform a refolding protocol to ensure proper function (i.e. binding to antigen or target). Refer to the aptamer reference source for the appropriate refolding parameters and binding conditions. Note: it is unknown whether aptamer functions properly without refolding.
This is a biphasic binding aptamer described by a two-Kd model, 2.7/103 nM.

This aptamer inhibited the binding of IFN-? to its receptor with a ID50 value of ~10 nm. It also inhibited IFN-?-mediated induction of MHC class 1 Ag and CD54(ICAM-1) expression in human myeloid leukemia cells.

The highlighted region in the structure represents the minimal effective sequence. However, the sequence could not be transcribed and no binding information was available.
