Binding Temp: RT°C Refolding Protocol: Heated at 90°C for 3 min and then cooled at 4°C for 1 hour. Specificity: Did not bind to related antibiotics amoxicillin and benzylpenicillin, or unrelated antibiotics chloramphenicol, tetracycline, sulfadimethoxine, streptomycin, and kanamycin. Comments: Because of AMP17's ability to aggregate on gold nanoparticles at lower salt concentrations than the other two aptamers, AMP17 was further evaluated in a colorimetric-fluorometric assay.
