Ampicillin (AMP17) (ID# 490)

Ampicillin (AMP17)
DNA Ampicillin Small Organic 13.4 nM (reported value) Binding Buffer: 20mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), 50 mM NaCl, 5 mM KCl, 5 mM MgCl2. RT°C Heated at 90°C for 3 min and then cooled at 4°C for 1 hour. Did not bind to related antibiotics amoxicillin and benzylpenicillin, or unrelated antibiotics chloramphenicol, tetracycline, sulfadimethoxine, streptomycin, and kanamycin. Because of AMP17's ability to aggregate on gold nanoparticles at lower salt concentrations than the other two aptamers, AMP17 was further evaluated in a colorimetric-fluorometric assay.
